Everyone deserves a chance to play sports!
Sports play a very important role in my life and I cannot imagine not having the opportunity to play them. About 6 years ago, I decided to start a charity event to help raise money for RallyCap Sports, an important organization that helps provide the opportunity for people with special needs to play sports, just like everyone else. My friends, family and teammates helped me make my first charity free throw event a huge success and have supported me every year since then. This year the 6th annual charity free throw event will be held on February 22 from 12pm until 3pm at Mendham High School. I am asking that you support me in helping create a world where people with special needs can share in the joy of sports and community.
There are many ways to support me in my fundraising efforts:
1) Make a donation on this page. Any donation is appreciated and will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for RallyCap Sports.
2) Pledge an amount for each basket I make (for example, you can pledge any amount between $1 and $20 for each made foul shot). If you are pledging an amount for each basket, please contact me at jordynbetlow@aol.com and let me know how much you would like to pledge per shot made and I will contact you after the event and let you know how many free throws I made.
3) Participate in the event on February 22nd by getting your own sponsors. If you would like to get your own sponsors, please email me and I will send you a pledge sheet.
4) Show up at the gym on February 22nd between 12 and 3 and bring $20 for each two minutes of free throw shots you will take.
