Hi everyone, and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I’m an amateur runner who started this journey seven years ago, simply trying to keep up with my wife and support her in the world of running. What began as a way to accompany her quickly became a life-changing part of my own story. Through running, I discovered a healthier, stronger version of myself. Since the day I laced up my first pair of shoes, I’ve lost 35 kilograms (about 77 pounds) and gained a level of wellbeing I never imagined.
Those who know me understand that helping others has always been a core part of who I am. That’s why, starting in 2026, I’ve decided to bring my passion for running into a bigger purpose: using each race as an opportunity to support people who deserve more chances, more inclusion, and more joy.
That’s why I’m proud to run the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon in support of RallyCap Sports, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating inclusive sports opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

RallyCap Sports is a non-profit organization that developed a sports program specifically designed for people with special needs; utilizing special equipment, coaching techniques, and drills to help each player experience social integration, healthy living, and greater self-confidence.

RallyCap provides adaptive programs that break barriers, build confidence, and bring the excitement of athletic participation to people who are too often left on the sidelines. Their work has impacted thousands of athletes, families, and communities by proving that sports truly can be for everyone.
Running with RallyCap gives me the chance to not only challenge myself, but also help fuel programs that open doors for others to experience the same joy and empowerment that running has given me.
If you choose to support this mission, please know that every contribution—big or small—creates real change. Thank you for believing in this cause and for helping me make every mile count.
With gratitude,

Rhadamés Calderon
