I’m so grateful for the friends, experiences, and community that running has brought into my life. As I take on my biggest running challenge yet, I’m honored to run for such an incredible cause. Thank you for supporting RallyCap Sports and joining me on this journey!

I first got into running in high school. Attending an arts school with no sports teams, I joined a small but mighty run club to stay active, spending Sunday mornings running through the San Jacinto Mountains. A few days after graduation, I ran my first half marathon - the first of many

In 2021, I tore my ACL and meniscus playing intramural soccer. Looking for support through my recovery, I joined Commonwealth Running Club in Brooklyn, which reignited my love for running and helped me find my community and closest friends in this city.

Now, I’m thrilled to take on my first-ever marathon - and there’s no better place than NYC. After four years of calling this city home, I can’t imagine a more exciting place to chase this goal.

In my search for a charity, RallyCap Sports immediately stood out. This nonprofit provides inclusive sports programs for children and young adults with special needs, using adaptive equipment, coaching, and drills to build confidence, promote healthy living, and encourage social integration.

My older brother is autistic, and I’ve seen firsthand the importance of creating inclusive spaces where individuals of all abilities feel supported. Growing up, I spent six years volunteering with the Penguin Project, which gave children with disabilities the chance to shine on stage. Now, as my weekends are filled with running and playing basketball with friends, I’m excited to raise funds to ensure children and young adults have the same opportunity to participate in sports - because everyone deserves the chance to play.
